To fix Windows XP, you will need to create a bootable disk installed with an antivirus software. In the past, boot disks were created using either a CD, DVD or floppy disk. Now, however, with the development of external drives, computers can boot from a USB flash drive. USB flash drives are more convenient than most other removable media because they are smaller and contain more drive space. Making a bootable USB drive to fix Windows XP can be a complicated, drawn-out process, so it's important to have plenty of time available to create the drive. Instructions 1 Access your BIOS setup screen. Check the drive priority menu to see whether or not you can boot from USB. If the option is not there, an update to the BIOS firmware may allow you to boot to USB. Contact your motherboard's manufacturer for further assistance. 2 Check your USB drive's documentation to confirm that it can be used as a bootable drive. While most USB drives can be used this way, older or cheaper USB drives may not have that functionality. 3.Download and run "HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool." Find a location for the camera. Unless you have a self powered camera (with batteries or solar), you will need an AC power source. The camera also needs to be within the range of your wireless router in order to be assigned an IP address. Keep both of these factors in mind when setting up your camera.

Set the camera up and plug it into the AC power source (if needed).




3.Choose a computer already on the network to assist in setting up the IP camera. Install any software that came with your wireless IP camera.

Navigate to the camera in order to set up your preferences. In some models, this is done by opening up "My Network" and opening the camera. Other models you will need to access through a web browser at the default IP address included in the instructions.

Configure your camera with any settings you would like to change. Such as the administrator password, network name, IP address and default gateway. Make a note of the camera's IP address.

Test the camera by navigating to its IP address with a browser. If you will be accessing this IP camera from an internal network, you are finished. If, however, you would like to access this camera while you are away, say from the office or while you are on vacation, continue to Step 7.

Configure your router for port forwarding. This will allow you to access the IP camera from outside your home network. Navigate to the IP address of your router; in most cases, this is "http://192.168.1.1". Click the "Advanced" or "Expert" settings and then the "Port Forwarding" feature. You will be prompted for a name for this service. Call it "IP camera" or something similar. In the "Port beginning" and "Port ending" section, type in "80". For "Server" or "Computer" name, type in the IP address of your wireless camera. You will need to do this for both the "TCP" and "UDP" connection type.

While in the router configuration screen, find your router's IP address. This will usually be on the "Startup" or "General" screens. Write this down.

Test your configuration by connecting with a web browser. In the address bar type in your router's IP address. You do not need to add the port number, as "80" is the default port for web services.

Take the plastic cover off a 3-in-1 digital camera, but leave the lens in place. If the lens is held in place by the cover, save part of the case to position the lens at the proper length, and keep light out of the camera with a piece of aluminum foil. Disconnect the shutter button to expose the connection.

Strip both sides of two 4-foot sections of 30-gauge magnet wire. Solder one wire to each contact on the button.



Cut a hole in the baseball cap in an inconspicuous location like a seam or within the graphics. Make the hole big enough for the camera lens. Use a layer of hot glue to hold the hole open.

Glue the camera in place behind the hole with the hot glue gun. Make sure that the camera is right side up.

Run the wires from the shutter button around the inside of the hat band. Secure the wires in place with the hot glue gun. The wire will hang out the back of the hat. Use a Sharpie to color the wire so it blends with your hair.

Solder the far ends of the wires to a pressure switch.

Cover all electrical connections with dabs of hot glue. Test the camera.

Purchase the pressure switch through a company that provides accessories for handicap people with accessibility issues. Position the pressure switch in your pocket or up your sleeve. Tape the extra wire out of sight.

        Run a sweep of the area with an electronic bug detector. These devices will detect cameras and audio recorders by the signal they put out. If there are cameras or listening devices in the area, the scanner will vibrate or flash red to inform you that you're being recorded.

        Set your scrambler next to you and turn it on. The scrambler puts out a tone that's above the range of human hearing, but it does scramble the recording capability of microphones and cameras within range of the signal.

        Turn off the scrambler when you're finished and leave. Scramblers are portable machines, and they're meant to operate while you're on the move. If you find spy devices in your own home, remove them immediately.
